Freak Out Friday

In an effort to keep this blog updated so that my many Internet readers can, well, have something to read, I am going to reinstate Freak Out Fridays. Maybe not reinstate, since there is only one other previous Freak Out Friday to speak of, but lets see how long it lasts...

Freak Out # 1: Free Dave Matthews Band Concert

Apparently, since they canceled their Utah concerts twice in a row (2008 and 2009), Dave Matthews has decided to give free tickets to everyone who bought a ticket for their show last year. After those individuals get their tickets, any leftovers will be dispersed to the public. Need proof? Check out this article. This will be the first Dave Matthews concert I've ever been able to afford-count me in!

Freak Out # 2: JD Salinger died

And is probably rolling in his grave over all the media coverage (he was a hermit, you know). And worried that when they make the movie version, they will use Zac Efron...

Freak Out # 3: Lion King tickets

Sunday, August 15, front row! Front row of the balcony section, but you take what you can get for $45. And just in case you were wondering, Jason will not be a participant in this event. He isn't so much into the singing and dancing lions...

Freak Out # 4: Chris Matthews quote about Obama
I don't care what you meant, you should have thought about what people were going to think you meant.

Freak Out # 5: The IPad

Ok, it looks cool, but could they really not think of a better name? Hmm, what's one letter off from their most profitable product? What will require the least amount of change to our marketing campaigns? What will make everyone immediately think of feminine hygiene products? Was this your plan, Apple? Because it is was, you succeeded!
